Adding Variance Notes
While variance notes are required for accounts that are over the threshold, users are not limited to adding notes to only those accounts. Multiple Notes can be entered on any Account in the Income Statement (including Totals and Sub-totals).
Adding a Note
To Add a Note, click the action menu in the row where you would like to add a note. This will open an "Add Note" Modal, where you can enter and save the note. Each note is limited to 500 characters. If this is too limited please let us know.

Editing/Deleting a Note
Admins can edit/delete any note. Otherwise, only the note author can edit or delete a note. This action can be done by hovering over the ellipsis next to the note you authored and making your selection.
Can I See Who Authored a Note?
Yes! Hovering over any Note will show you who entered the Note and when it was last updated.
